The original charging stations relied entirely on mobile web interactions through QR codes. This project introduced an interactive station experience that allowed users to begin rentals directly at the station through physical payment methods or mobile continuation flows.

Designed for busy public environments, the station interface prioritized readability, large touch targets, and simplified layouts to make interactions faster and easier at the station.
Interface placement was also considered from both ergonomic and privacy perspectives. Interactions were positioned lower on the display to create a more comfortable reach range while also helping shield sensitive information in public spaces.

The rental experience introduced direct payment interactions at the station, allowing users to complete transactions without relying entirely on their mobile device.

Because the station interacted with payments, hardware actions, and mobile handoffs, clear feedback states were critical for reducing uncertainty and guiding users through transactional moments.
This project introduced a new interaction layer to the charging station ecosystem, allowing users to begin rentals directly from the kiosk while reducing dependency on mobile-only interactions.
